blargh

The first photo of my One-A-Days. Posting one photo a day. For the rest of the summer? For the rest of forever?

I’ve left this painting stagnent for a while now. At a loss of what to do with it. I’m pretty unhappy with it right now, so I guess I’ll probably cover a large portion of it in white and start over. Kind of Twombly-esque and I like it.

long summer days

Uncategorized — May @ July 2, 2007, 8:07 pm

After the solo show & Square at Artifacts and Momentum Tulsa, the one big art event of the year, there’s not a whole lot going on in my life. I’ve started working on the second “version” of my mixed media screenprints as well as a few large square pieces (titles pending).

I’m always trying to do something and it’s very clear that my current struggle is learning how to relax and enjoy my summer doing nothing. It’s about 50-50 so far, I can enjoy myself some days and others, I’m just itching to get out and do something. I look forward to time in the pool and the loud music and the occasional delciously homecooked meal. Tonight it was linguini and a simple tomato sauce with lots of garlic and onions and cracked black pepper on top. Yum.

I’ll probably post some work in progress pictures soon.
